Alberta Cross

Big thanks to Laurel for turning me onto these guys. Albert Cross is a group out of NYC, but you would never know it.

Their blend of 70's southern rock, country and indie rock elements sound like a dark blend of My Morning Jacket, Kings of Leon and The Allman Brothers. Vocalist Petter Ericson Stakee lays down wicked vocals that will haunt you for days.

This is seriously some of the BEST stuff I have heard in a long while. Their debut EP The Thief & The Heartbreaker is out now on that thing called iTunes.
