In the first of many posts about France's Valerie collective, I wanted to preview a few jams from Anoraak. They are a duo from Western France who make some of the raddest 80's synth-inspired songs out there. The whole Valerie crew is heavily influenced by the era, as can be seen on their blog
Expect to hear much more from Valerie and Anoraak in 2008, both here and elsewhere. Can someone say Ed Banger Records version 2.0?
