I wonder what the man himself thinks of this? Oh, lets not bother him he's at the beach today, putting out the vibe.

Major Lazer- Guns Don't Kill People, Lazers Do

After conquering the world and getting that "Paper Planes" money, Diplo's latest quest may be even more daunting- selling dancehall reggae to skinny jeans hipsters and electro-loving poseur teens. For some reason I think they will eat this up though.

No diss to Diplo, but these mostly dark, heavy cuts featuring some of the world's best dancehall MC's would never see the light of day without his and Switch's names attached to the project.

We Keep It Goin' Louder feat Nina Sky & Ricky Blaze

James Yuill

James Yuill is a British "folktronica" artist who just wrapped up a string of dates supporting M83 here in the States (so you know the music has to be good).

His newest album Turning Down Water for Air was actually released in 2007 in England but just got a proper US release thanks to Nettwerk.

This kind of reminds me of (guess who?) Faded Paper Figures, it is an excellent blend of traditional singer/songwriter lyrical content with the blips and beeps that we all have grown to love.

No Surprise

Left Handed Girl

Lighter Shade Of Red

Packt Like Sardines In A Crushd Tin Box (Radiohead Cover)

New Sufjan Stevens Song!

But there's a catch.

We have to go to this guy's apartment in Brooklyn to hear it.

Keep up the good fight against the evil blogosphere Alec.
