Before I get to the Friday Hotness today, I am going to ask you fine folks for your help on something. I have been looking for these songs below for some time now, and I can't find for the life of me an mp3 of any of them.

If you have a copy, or know where I can download I would be forever grateful.

- Engineers- Sometimes I Realise (Extra Bonus Points for finding this one, I think it is on an album that was never actually released).

- Blackalicious- 40 oz for Breakfast

A Trak x Nike- Running Man Mix

I have to say that I am a little disappointed in the new A Trak mix that he did for the Nike workout mix series. "Running Man" starts off strong, and I was feeling the burn on the Stairmaster for the first 5 minutes last night listening to it. However the 45-minute mix is slow at times, and really just 5 or 6 long songs stretched out with some scratching mixed in. Definitely not a pump up mix for the gym, in my opinion. But maybe that's because I listen to mostly drum n' bass, Prodigy and old school Oakenfold during workouts.

In his defense, I'm sure there were some restrictions as to what he/Nike were allowed to include on the mix without paying sky-high licensing fees. He is still one of the world's best DJs and one of my favorites to see live. Catch him this summer on tour:

6/28 Glastonbury, England - Glastonbury Festival
6/30 London, England - Durrr @ The End
7/18 Chicago, IL - Sonotheque
7/19 Los Angeles, CA - Hard L.A. @ Shine Expo Center
7/20 New York, NY - Central Park SummerStage #%
8/07 Gothenburg, Sweden - Way Out West Festival
8/08 Oslo, Norway - Øya Festival
8/10 Toronto ON - Time Festival
8/16 Hasselt, Belgium - Pukkelpop Festival
8/30 Dublin, Ireland - Electric Picnic
9/06 Isle of Wight, England - Bestival

Hey, maybe you could even run to the show in your town blasting "Running Man?" No? Ok, I'll stop now.

New Lakai Skate Video

Skate videos were always cool but how amazing is does this new Lakai video look? I posted that Spike Jonze/M83 clip before as well. Lakai is really stepping their game up.

Does anyone know when this comes out?

Girl Talk- Feed The Animals

Yes, Girl Talk can't DJ his way out of a wet paper bag. And yes, none of the music on Feed The Animals is orginal. But take all that with a grain of salt and this is simply a really dope mix, spanning genres like no other.

Catch this man wrecking dancefloors in some dark basement near you with his "beer and sweat-proofed" laptop.

Here are 3 tracks from Feed The Animals, download the whole thing here.

New Sigur Ros!

Here are a few tracks off Sigur Ros' new album entitled (wait for it...) Me› Su› í Eyrum Vi› Spilum Endalaust .

Despite my quips with them being quite pompous (singing in your own invented language "Hopelandic" on the album ( ) , really dudes?)), they DO make some beautiful music.

Catch them at Bonaroo this weekend, in NYC on June 16-17 or at The Greek Theatre in LA on October 2nd.

Kleerup

I just popped this new Kleerup album in at work and I am very impressed to say the least. He is a swedish DJ who's debut album combines two of my favorite elements- pulsating electronic beats and exotic female vocals. Guest vocalist on the album include Lykke Li, Robyn and Neneh Cherry.

The Pinker Tones

I saw The Pinker Tones completely rock the KCRW Sounds Eclectic show after-party in 2006, with no previous knowledge of them at all. I didn't know if it was the open bar or free burrito station that may have clogged my judgement that night, but after some research I found out that they are a DJ duo from Barcelona who make some pretty amazing music.

Their new album Wild Animals, which came out in May has a real Zero 7/Thievery Corporation feel to it.

They are actually on The Vans Warped Tour this summer, so check them out there. Hey, even 13 year old emos need to let loose on the dancefloor, right?

N.E.R.D.- Seeing Sounds

This is definitely not as good as their classic debut In Search Of... , but the new album has some solid songs on it. I posted a few below. The album comes out Tue 6/1, but it is out there now if you catch my drift.

LA people- catch N.E.R.D. this Saturday at Staples Center on the Kanye "Glow in the Dark Tour," the best show you will see this year! (Well, maybe besides My Morning Jacket).

Wale- The Mixtape About Nothing

By now you probably know that I love Wale. The DC native is the total package and poised to take over the rap world. After just signing to Interscope in April, I think his debut album is due out later this year. I the meantime, he dropped this Seinfeld-inspired mixtape The Mixtape About Nothing , and its got some heaters on it for sure. It also features some funny clips from the show, him rapping over the Seinfeld theme and even a drop by Julia Louis Dreyfus herself.

Download the whole thing for free over at the homie The Elitaste's blog here.
