Sorry I have been largely MIA he last few weeks, been a busy summer at work. I'll get back to more of a regular schedule soon I hope. School Of Seven Bells - Dust Devil
Once again Benzi has laced us with a smooth-ass mixtape. This time Kanye gets the remix treatment from some of the best in the game including A-Trak, Cousin Cole and Diplo.
Peep a few tracks below and grab the whole thing HERE.
I just saw Kanye's Glow In The Dark Tour last night at Nokia here in LA and it is all I can think about this morning. Definitely the best hip hop show I have ever seen. I won't spoil any of the surprises for folks that haven't seen the show yet, but please see it if you can. This is the kind of show that you will sit back in your rocker and tell your grandchildren that you saw way back in 2008.

2007 was not a stellar year for Hip Hop, but any year that Kanye West puts out an album is a good year for music. His Graduation was a pleasant surprise amid most of the nonsense that clogged up the airwaves of rap radio. I would like to hope that we would hear the last of "Crank Dat Soulja Boy", "Walk It Out" and "Ay Bay Bay" when 2007 draws to a close, but I am afraid we will not be so lucky.
Acts like Wale, The Cool Kids and Kid Sister proved that there may be hope on the horizon by dropping albums that harked back to the glory days of the 80's and 90's. Wale in particular looks to be a prime candidate for Hip Hop's next superstar, some one sign this dude!
