LA's own Kenan Bell has been tearing up the area party scene lately with his blend of Pharcyde-esque hip hop and energetic indie rock.
Impressive since dude is a middle school teacher. No joke.
Kenan is doing a free monthly residency at Spaceland on Monday nights in October. He has been known to be joined onstage by a rotating cast of characters including the messiah himself, John Frusciante. If that isn't enough to check Kenan out, I don't know what is.
