"Lost" Songs

Before I get to the Friday Hotness today, I am going to ask you fine folks for your help on something. I have been looking for these songs below for some time now, and I can't find for the life of me an mp3 of any of them.

If you have a copy, or know where I can download I would be forever grateful.

- Sic Transit & Andrew Campion- On The Ball

- Longwave- The Devil and The Liar

- Engineers- Sometimes I Realise (Extra Bonus Points for finding this one, I think it is on an album that was never actually released).

- Blackalicious- 40 oz for Breakfast

- Paul Harris- Put Your Hands Back On

- Sorcerer- Surfing at Midnight

Pink Skull- Bubblelog Aftermath Video

Just as I was looking for some new dance moves for the summertime, Pink Skull has made this new video starring some old guys and their old guy dances.

A cue card for dance moves? Epic.

A Trak x Nike- Running Man Mix

I have to say that I am a little disappointed in the new A Trak mix that he did for the Nike workout mix series. "Running Man" starts off strong, and I was feeling the burn on the Stairmaster for the first 5 minutes last night listening to it. However the 45-minute mix is slow at times, and really just 5 or 6 long songs stretched out with some scratching mixed in. Definitely not a pump up mix for the gym, in my opinion. But maybe that's because I listen to mostly drum n' bass, Prodigy and old school Oakenfold during workouts.

In his defense, I'm sure there were some restrictions as to what he/Nike were allowed to include on the mix without paying sky-high licensing fees. He is still one of the world's best DJs and one of my favorites to see live. Catch him this summer on tour:

6/28 Glastonbury, England - Glastonbury Festival
6/30 London, England - Durrr @ The End
7/18 Chicago, IL - Sonotheque
7/19 Los Angeles, CA - Hard L.A. @ Shine Expo Center
7/20 New York, NY - Central Park SummerStage #%
8/07 Gothenburg, Sweden - Way Out West Festival
8/08 Oslo, Norway - Øya Festival
8/10 Toronto ON - Time Festival
8/16 Hasselt, Belgium - Pukkelpop Festival
8/30 Dublin, Ireland - Electric Picnic
9/06 Isle of Wight, England - Bestival

Hey, maybe you could even run to the show in your town blasting "Running Man?" No? Ok, I'll stop now.

Castaneda at The Troubadour 6/24

The homie Rob's band Castaneda is playing at The Troubadour tomorrow night.

Check them out their Echo Park influenced pop/rock sound so you can say you saw them way back when at the Troubadour!
